Nail Service :D

This is my first project for service!
I did nailing to my mother. The reasons I did are I like nailing and someone adviced me to do on people's nail who cannot do that well by theirselves.
The learning outcomes for this service are:
  • Increase awareness of my strengths and areas for growth
  • Undertake new challenges
  • Developed new skills

I went shopping and got a new one....

Here are some evidences how I did...

And finally done...!

I was worried about how it goes since it was the first time I tried to do it someone's nail, but I think it went pretty well!!
Next time I will try to decorate a bit.

Kisses :*

International day plan

In October, there will be annual big event of BISM, INTERNATIONAL DAY<3
Normally, year12 are separated into some groups and make a conner like quiz, origami as examples...However, this year, it is going to change!
Today, we are divided into some groups which each have 3 or less than three people. I am Japanese, so that our room is going to be a lovely Japan world!

The member of Japan corner is, Shun, Haruka, and me. We have around 30 to 40 minutes to introduce our country, so here are with some ideas came up.

Quiz of japan: general quiz (e.g. The population)
                        culture quiz(e.g. manner)
*for the winners, we will give the cakes(probably Japanese style/they can choose handmade or bought stuff) or they will have an opportunity to wear a traditional dress (the one which is easy to wear).
LIKE THIS... (it is an unisex wear*)

Language: teach students some japanese before quiz starts and mix some in questions.

Music: use a CD player to play music as a background.

Decoration: print some landscapes of japan and put them on the wall

I really want make this enjoyable for everyone and hope they will :D

Geography board

We made a Geography/ESS board as a part of CAS project.

As a location of it, we chose the one closest one to the entrance so that almost of the students can see it.

First of all, we sticked a big orange colored paper to the board. *the middle is me.

The reason we chose orange is we thought that orange makes us a good mood even though there are lots of problems about Earth such as grobal warming, deforestation and so on.
Then we put green waving flame to that. Green definately reminds us earth.

After that we cut the letters `HAVE YOU GOT THE IB LEARNER PROFILE?` which are designed by my classmate.

Finally we sticked the letters and the paper about IB learner profile, which we did as a homework to the board!

I think I learned many things from making the Geography board.
We worked together(all of member of Geography department) so that we learnt how to collaborate with others over the cultures.
Since we never done something together, our relationship was not so good before, but we could get closer by making this.
That was the first time I challenged to make the board thing, so I could develop a new skill and I guess my ability of creativity increased.

Yummy Yummy Yummy

This is the first post for this blog.

Today, I am going to write about cooking.
This is for creativity and the outcomes are:
  • Increase awareness of my strengths and areas for growth
  • Planned and initiated activities
<Chocolate cake>

Ingredients:

  • flour-30g
  • cocoa powder-10g
  • sweet cholocalte-100g
  • butter-90g
  • 2 eggs
  • sugar-40g

Process:

1: Mix flour and cocoa powder together. Set the oven to 180c.
2: Put the chocolate and butter together in a bowl and put them in hot water to heat them up ( or you can just put them into a micro wave so that it can be melted easier.)

3: Use another bowl to mix up eggs and sugar.
Whip them until the volume increases.

4: Mix 2 and 3 up completely.

5: Put 1 into 4 and mix them.

6: 180c 10-12minutes in an oven.

*You need to check that the cake is ready for that time taken, because the oven is different in every home.
*It is going to be soft-baked, so make sure that you are not over baking it.

I ate them with my family, but I guess I can give them to my friends or families as  a social work.

 Thanks for reading :D
